More about AluCraft's aluminum boats
Buying a boat is for most people a big investment and there is a lot to think about. What will it be used for, can everyone in the family drive it, purchase price, will it retain its value? How much work is it to keep it in good condition? And more? We asked ourselves these questions and a few more before we started building boats about 26 years ago. The result was what Alucraft is. We simply started from our own requirements that we had gathered through experience when we had seen the problems that many well-known brand boats have. We had these requirements as a starting point and as control points in our production of AluCraft’s aluminum boats.

High quality aluminum boats.
The quality of our boats is always high. Knots and all other details that can break are dimensioned in both material and design to withstand all conceivable loads. An AluCraft can be lifted by the knots, with engine and crew. All parts of the boat are welded together so there is no common boat rattle. Our aluminum boats are always safe, fast and robust, with few parts that can break. The boat building is a handmade quality construction, which is carried out by real boaters with all the experience needed. All our boats are built in slightly thicker aluminum than the most common on the market to ensure that it lasts better.
We only use the highest quality marine aluminum SS4140 (5083/AlMg4.5Mn) adapted for ocean-going boats. To ensure that the decks, floors and hatches are non-slip, they are made of floor plate. All our boats are of course CE-Certified.
Aluminum boats with character!
If you test drive one of our boats, you will feel that this boat is made for tough times. The boats are characterized by being fast, stiff, fuel-efficient and can be driven in all weather conditions from ice breaking to ice building. The sharp V-bottom with its strokes provides driving pleasure and comfortable progress in rough seas. The aluminum hull with all its details is fully welded with 5mm in the bottom and 4mm in the freeboards, which guarantees durability and in this way, some ice driving is no problem.
